How to buy

$CLOSE trades against GME on pons, so the first job is having GME on Robinhood Chain.

  1. Add Robinhood Chain to your wallet

Any EVM wallet works. Chain ID 4663, RPC https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com, native asset ETH.

  2. Get GME on Robinhood Chain

Robinhood's tokenized GameStop stock. Withdraw it from the Robinhood app to your wallet, or swap for it on the chain. Keep a little ETH for gas.

  3. Open $CLOSE on pons

Use the link from this page or from 𝕏 and check the contract address character by character against the one above. Names and images can be copied; the address can't.

  4. Buy with GME

Set your slippage, confirm in your wallet, done. In the first three seconds after launch pons taxes buys at up to 99% and drops it to zero, so bots can't snipe the open.

Fees and payouts

Two things come off every trade. A 1% pons fee on the GME leg, which is the launchpad's. And a creator tax, set once at launch and fixed after that, which pons collects in GME and sends to the creator fee wallet on both the curve and the pool after graduation. That tax is what holders get: once a week it is split by share of supply and sent out, and the transaction hash goes into the payout log so you can follow the GME from pons to your wallet on the explorer.

  • Payouts are in GME, never in $CLOSE. Supply is fixed; nothing is minted to pay you.
  • The amount depends on volume that week. A quiet week pays little; a busy one pays more, whichever way the price went.
  • There is no claim button. GME lands in the wallet that holds the token.
  • The tax rate is written into the launch and cannot be raised afterwards.

Why this pair, why this chain

Most meme tokens can be forked to any chain with the picture swapped. This one can't, because the joke is the infrastructure. $CLOSE is named after Robinhood's error status, lives on Robinhood's own chain, and trades against the stock Robinhood froze, issued as a token by Robinhood. Take away any one of those and it is just a cat.

Pairing to GME rather than ETH also means the thing holders receive is the thing the story is about. You are paid in the share that was set to sell-only, for holding.

What this is not

CLOSE is not affiliated with Robinhood Markets, the operators of Robinhood Chain, GameStop, pons, or any person mentioned in the story. It is built on a public network the same way anyone can build on one. Robinhood and GameStop are trademarks of their owners and are named here because the story is about them, not because they are involved.

Nobody from CLOSE will ever message you first, ask for a seed phrase, or ask you to send anything to unlock a payout. Anyone doing that is not us, however good the profile picture.

Risk

This is a meme token. It has no intrinsic value and can go to zero. The GME paid to holders is real but depends entirely on trading volume and can be small or nothing. Tokenized stocks track the underlying share and move with it. Because $CLOSE is priced in a tokenized equity, pons does not offer the market to traders in the United States. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice, and whether you may hold tokenized stocks where you live is between you and your own rules.
